Jane Allgood, Ph.D., MSW
Jane Allgood, Ph.D., MSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker and has worked in social work for over 20 years. She has experience working with both children and adults who are dealing with the variety of issues that are part of our lives. She has worked with drug addicted women in recovery as well as working with children who either are at-risk for out of home placement or have been removed from the home. Most recently, Dr. Allgood has been on the faculty of the Dworak-Peck School of Social Work at the University of Southern California. She has moved to Huntsville to be closer to her family. Dr. Allgood received her MSW and Ph.D. in social work from Florida State University. She is also a US Navy veteran.
Dr. Allgood is experienced with and enjoys working with both children and adults dealing with abuse issues, addiction treatment and recovery, PTSD, anxiety, depression, military sexual trauma, and LGBTQIA issues.
